Way too keen Rd 19 preview

It’s been another huge home and away season in Superbok V. Commissioner Dan has rorted his way to a game clear on top of the ladder but will have tough opposition in Pete who is gunning for a spot in the finals. It will all come down to their forward line which, does not exist for Pete. If Pete gets up, the comish could lose his top place crown. The only way the comish can hold on is thanks to some Scott Lycett magic who has been Dan’s love child for the last 4 years.

The DiamondDawgs will be eager to knock off Dave who is safe in 5th place. The double d’s need the win in order to consolidate a spot in the top 6 however, with Dave’s predicted score showing a big margin in favour of the Spooges, the double d’s could lose their spot.

In what shapes as the match-up of the round, it’s 2nd vs 3rd between TBD and Toukle my balls. TBD has won 8 in a row to coincide with Collingwood’s amazing run but could this be the week where they fall short? The ball Touklers could be aided with a Jordan De Goey return to will them over the line. Both sides will be eager for a win with Lumumbas Diplomacy breathing down their necks with a guaranteed win against the Tall Small Fwds.

In an unlikely possibility, the Hump Day bin rides are still a mathematical chance to make the top 6. Needing to gain nearly 800 points on the double d’s, Nathan would need some hump day magic to sneak in.

To finish the round is an irrelevant match-up between Zac & Jesse who have been disappointing all season. The Commissioner needs to look at the input of these teams moving forward.

There are some juicy matchups this week and the Superbok title is well and truly up for grabs. What a season it’s been!

Editor’s note: Scott Lycett only made the preview due to threats from the Commissioner
